Becka is from Cincinnati, Ohio! Though, now acclimated to flat, windy Indiana, she certainly prefers the hills of Cincinnati and being close to Kings Island. She is the middle child, with an older brother and a younger sister. She has two dogs, an Australian Shepherd, Moose, and a Terrier Mix, Tee, whom her family found on a golf course. She enjoys various outdoor activities, including hiking, sand volleyball, pickleball, skateboarding, and camping. Her favorite, however, is golfing. Becka is beyond appreciative of her support system of family and friends, who will always find themselves involved in some activity or endeavor she dragged them into. |
Residence Hall Association (RHA)
Vice President (2024-Present), National Communications Coordinator (2023-Present), Honors College RHA Senator (2023) Becka has had the opportunity to exert her passion for leadership through RHA. With over 16,000 students living in University Residences, RHA supports and advocates for a substantial proportion of the student body from the integration of new policies to community building events. One current RHA ambition that she and Jason initiated, entails officializing a University Residences policy that maintains the same guidelines as the Purdue Medical Amnesty policy concerning immunity for intoxication related incidents involving a medical emergency. Another impact project Rebecca began was Hygiene Handouts, which consisted of distributing self-care products to students in need. College of Science Student
